Our beginnings
Desoto Works + Designs was established in 2016 in Trinidad & Tobago. Our three founding directors, wanting to offer a more professional approach to the provision of architectural, engineering and construction services locally, formed the company catering to small but diverse client base. Although have we have been successfully executing overseas projects out of our T&T base, we decided in 2024 to open Desoto Works + Designs in Guyana , due to the regions potential for growth. In doing so, we’ve been joined by a new director who will help guide us with the idiosyncrasies of the country.
Our standards
Our creative and practical design solutions are cost-effective and
highly buildable. Our comprehensive process takes you from design
through construction and we are experts at balancing bold form with
solid function, never sacrificing performance for aesthetics. We’ve
built strong relationships with engineers, specialist consultants and
builders who can provide the added expertise you need at every
stage of the project. We optimise the client’s project to their specific
use while our designs make the most of the project’s site topography,
landscape and ambient environment.
In the end, our clients are rewarded with highly personalised projects
that are directed by their particular vision.
Meet the team
Our principals, all trained in architecture, each have over 20 years experience in the construction field. Together they have worked on a wide range of residential, commercial, industrial and institutional projects across the region.
